Sure any of the help files are useful - in fact, help new is a good help file for newbies.

The following commands you use without help in front of them:

• Commands gives you an extensive list of known commands for the game.
• Toggle lets you alter certain settings.
• Who lets you see who's currently online.
• Where shows you who is in the same area you're in
• Look around (or l around) shows you the name of the zone you're in and the level range for the zone.
• Tell < playername > <message> lets you talk to that particular person.
• Re lets you reply to someone that just sent you a tell.
