What makes you play 4D mud?

I have the feeling that there could be a "Testimonies" section.
So why not gather the best answers and make a new section (maybe between "Stories" and "Awards" in the left column on the website)? Newbies could then refer to them.

Play?  I don't play.

Build, that I do and that is why I stay.

I'll continue by adding, I left a different mud beause, after spending some time there, I felt like I wanted to build - they weren't accepting player areas - so no building.  I found a post of Molly's on one of the many rpg forums and what she posted sounded interesting.  Found myself loving mudschool and the quests though I did find that I suck at questing.  I still love the mental challenges that it offers and that is why I continue to change things as I build.

-Molly, Riley, Virisin, Asmodeus, Jason, Devram, Thotter, and so on. These are the people whom I somehow strangely cherish even if I haven't ever met them IRL though I am certain it is about damn time! ESPECIALLY all of the swedish ones . Especially Molly who I have been worshiping behind Lolth's back since I was like...16. Also, we have the best quest zones in the world hands down.
-See previous answer. These are all valid reason as to why I always come back, and never truly leave. My heart lies with 4D and the people who keep it alive.
