Quests in 4d

Getting tired of killing mobs and the mindless hack'n'slash?
Looking for a more intellectual pastime? Interested in puzzles, riddles, mazes, challenges?

There are over 100 built-in Quests in the zones of 4 Dimensions - in fact, Questing is a large part of the special 4D culture. The Quests are designed to be in theme with the zone, and many of them are also funny and entertaining. The level of difficulty varies between very easy Newbie Quests, to extremely hard 10-step Quests, where you will have to use all your intelligence and patience to figure out what to do next.

The best equipment in the game is usually gained from various Quests, and you have to do the Quest yourself to be able to use it. Questing is also one of the main ways to earn the tokens, which you use to buy special features, like Player Houses and personal equipment, transport items, pets and vehicles. Our unique Quest Academy on top of Mud School teaches some of the tricks that are useful for a Questor. A good Questor must learn what to look for in the rooms, and how to use all five senses.

To make things a bit easier we have made a lot of Questcards, giving more or less subtle hints about the Quests you can perform in the different zones. We also have a Questcard Machine that will hand out these Questcards on demand. Another machine receives the items from the Treasure Hunts, and gives Tokens in return.

And finally we have a Token Machine, that will allow you to safely deposit the Tokens that you earn as Quest rewards. You will find all these three machines in the Questor's Department, North-West of Recall.

More about Quests and Questcards under the links Treasure Hunts and Zone Quests.

There is also the challenge to collect the most available Zone Flags. You'll find more information about that under The Zone Flag Quest.
