The reason is that casters don't get any experience for casting healing spells. Mord is wanting to make sure priests can be useful in a group and make it worth using up the mana for their spells.

I think the code could be done to give thieves less damage with kick or maybe a longer cool down timer so you can't kick as often as a ranger / warrior could. Just a thought.

I'm kinda of torn on this as well. I know from experience the even split is power leveling that is how Fiachra got a couple remorts or so when he started.

I kinda like the idea of an mob hitting another member in the group to discourage taking newbie to really high level zones. I don't mean all the time be make it random percentage.

The duration of spells will need to be discussed between the immortals to see if they should be shortened or not. I can see why Magic bubble got shortened. But my point of view is some defensive buffs should last a while. But I think offensive weakening spells should have a shorter timer. Another example is the blasted basilisk that casts slow for like 30 minutes. Mutters.
