Title: Poetry Contest Entries

Here is the official posting spot for both Loria and Once to submit their poems.  Remember, entries must be added by Sunday, July 17th, midnight PST.  Entries posted past that time will be disqualified.

Mischan (Rondelet)

To send a mischan
That everyone has seen;
To send a mischan,
That they all misunderstand.
I just want to scream
Because I did not mean
To send a mischan.


Letting Go (Ruba'i)

You promised to text me, you said you would.
I waited for you as long as I could.
I already left for the club tonight
And will probably drink more than I should.

I am getting bored with this ongoing fight.
You say I'm wrong; I think I'm right.
Do not bother waiting up for me;
I may not even come home tonight.

This time apart may help me see
Why I'm still with you, but honestly
I may decide being apart is good,
Being apart is much better for me.
