Title: relearning skills/spells
Post by: horus on May 24, 2009, 11:43:17 pm
We know that once you learn a particular skill/spell (say track as a ranger), then you remort into some other caster class, then finally remort again into thief, it would mean you have to relearn track and every other common skills/spells that you had as a ranger. Of course, this applies to all sorts of combinations.

Now you have a chance to vote on a more simplified system. Choose which circumstance should players not have to relearn the skills/spells they have already learnt.

Thanks

If you've mastered a class, I don't see that it's very likely that you'd 'forget' a skill. I find that to be incredibly annoying.

I second what Kito said in her post.

I agree also with kito. Forgetting skills/spells is very annoying.

Yeah, there just isn't enough practice sessions to go around anyhow. Especially for GM's who everytime we've remorted, have had to relearn stuff in the SAME class we just remorted back into (because its boring bein lvl 50 all of the time), and have forgotten everything. I have been out of sessions every since, and I'm not about to pay tokens to earn more sessions....and I've lost a lot of skills that used to be 97%.

I didn't like the idea when it was first discussed as one of the methods to make the game "more fun", along with hiding the trainers.
