All,

Just giving everyone an heads up. I might not be on much after tomorrow afternoon evening. Because of some personal circumstances I'm not sure where I will be so I might not have easy access to Internet.

Suggestions & Ideas / Changes made to Gypsy class Discussion

The subject is says it all. I will post on this later and hopefully this will be a springboard for changes / suggestions for gypsy class.

Right now my biggest things would be 2 categories:
1) hp / level change (Average from my mort of 97 to 85) to (average 87 to 70 a level)
2) Loss of Dodge and harder to level since you need to heal more. Not sure if this is just dodge or some other factor(s).

I'm liking the elemental bonus on staves now. All we need is more ice spells *pokes Graham* to make ice focus staves more viable.

Again I will post more when I have sometime to think about this.

Molzilla fixed our recent crash bug from an buffer overflow. There was a check but it was disable from recent code changes. He put the check back in.

Added auto descriptions for Badlands and Rails.

All,

After the current code changes a new push or patch will be pushed.

This patch will resolve the issue of objects not crumbling when they should.

So timered items will crumble when this patch goes in.

We will work on crumble messages. But object WILL go POOF once patch is in!

I am giving everyone advance announcement on this.

Recent fixes:
1) Changed tier 2 color for mobs and players from cyan to dark green.

2) Fixed push message so it correctly display. It was giving the PC two messages since the variable wasn't right.

All,

There are two semi new spells. I asked Molly which classes should get them and she made her suggestions as follows:
Wall of Force -> Ranger or Gypsy
Wall of Fire -> Esper or Gypsy

She also said to ask the players so I am. I will post a note on 3001 board as well.

So please input. Which class(es) do you think need more spells (The above two mentioned)

Still working on nobat and splitting things off. I have a seperate code base where I am working on an hunger toggle. I will see what I can do about the title / pre-title. I might just leave that with battlespam.

Fixed the spelling of devine mind to divine mind.

Other fixes are in the works.

News & Announcements / Hosting Power failures

All,

I want to let everyone know that in the last week our server hosting has had two power failures which have disrupted our mud and forums. If you can't connect to 4d give it a couple of hours. Usually the power outages are only 1 to 3 hours long since they host a lot of servers and it takes time for things to come back up after an power failure. So be patient.

3) Working on giving level 1 more movement points (around 500 give or take) -> This is a WIP

Scripting Board / Moon phases and Seasons in DG Scripting

All,

Thotter added moon phases and seasons to dg. Here are the examples he gave:
%time.moon% and %time.season%

Now the %time.season% might need some more tweaks since I added seasons to the main 4D code base.

Let me know if you have issues with thew above commands. I will try to do my best to get it working.
