eq seems to come in 3s...as newer zones come out generally the eq is better and better....though the quest isnt necessarily harder than some of the older zones....right now theres not tons of variety in the equipment people get and it is generally all from the same zones....ie punt has 3 items, victorian england 3 items, enchanted lands 3 items...egypt/VOTK dont make this list since only a very limitted population have these items(3 items as well)....all of which are the best available for their slots...

would it be possible to look at some of the older zones and maybe make adjustments to the equipment rewards for the quests...possible to add in some wider range of variety to the equipment players use...perhaps rewarding with a different stat mix so players change or balance setups differently and its not all the same 9 items on the majority of the players...

remove them....make them so you can do them multiple times....silly to have this with DTs it encourages people to make alts just todo a quest again post DT.....

a skill for maybe warriors on longarm weapons and thiefs on short blade weapons....or something similiar across all classes that get longarm/short blade skills.  just something minor to give them a minor bonus to weapons...ie warrior sharpens his longsword and gains maybe up to 2 additional dice rolls of his weapon....so instead of 10d10 hes rolling 12d10....of course timers would apply similiar to tinker but maybe a tad bit longer.....idea being less of a bonus but for an extended period of time...gypsy would obviously still be the one togo to for max of 15d15 or wtf is it

instead of it having do relatively flat line of damage...different factors should change damage....ie minor bonus if they dont have detects and your sneak/hiding.....mid-major bonus if they are blind....major bonus if they are sleeping....makes sense right?

certain trees load frequently like oaks and pines....you can get the required amount in no time.....others like aspen, cypress, alder load rarer and take awhile to gather the required amount

can we please update the trade point rewards to scale more based on the type of wood turned in?  its bad enough they add 1 log to the requirement after completing jobs...i could probably get 27 oaks before i get 10 aspens or dogwoods

why is this not a long arm?  its a greatsword!  theres broadswords that are larger than this......

a scorched greatsword is a type of weapon made from base-material
It can be taken and worn on TAKE WIELD
It is magic blessed melt-on-drop
Its weight is 6 and its valued at 1800 coins.
If worn it will give you --
    -1 to your Intelligence
     3 to your Constitution
     2 to your Damroll

Wanted Weapon Balance: (base)-=====0===================-(tip)
Actual Weapon Balance: (base)-====0====================-(tip)
This balance gives the weapon 13 speed, 42 accuracy and 9 evasion.
The one handed weapon is a 60cm Shortsword that can slash at 10D10 damage.

objects that load in containers....the containers always load and the objects dont load into the container always it appears....ie there was one kvetch looked at for me and basically said the container is loaded and the item in the container only loads when the container loads....which the container is always loaded so the item never repops in it

2 things

1) the exp loss for fleeing from mobs needs to be tweaked...i mean come on 3-5 mil from certain ones...and with lag + insta chase your down 20 mil exp before you know it

2) tiered mobs and exp bonus....needs to be evaluated....i can fight a tier 0 mob no problem and kill 20 before needing to heal...at 2.6mil a mob.....fight 1 tier 1 mob and i only get 3.2mil and need to go heal because im low on hps....i feel like the way it scales up isnt reflective of the mob difficulty

Back in the day, prior to our switch to the current format, one of the things that made this mud fun for me was Artifacts and trying to collect all Artifacts in the game.  Whether it was attempting to farm a high end mob to get one to pop or checking the secret loading places over and over and over, it added another element to the game.  With the timers on artifacts now, the amount of time spent obtaining an artifact does not necessarily equate to the amount of time you actually get to use said artifact.  A frustrating scenario, especially if you were to get something like assembling the super weapon/armor.  I would propose making the following changes to these items;

Remove the Timer
Remove the Max Loan Rate
Decrease the % they are loaded - basically a drop to offset the removal of a max load

Doing this would add back an element into the game of trying to take down larger mobs to force a pop of a nice item.  This would provide people with a nice step between normal eq and the high end quest items as well.  Unfortunately i dont know if the 3 above are feasible, its been probably 10 years since ive had a builder.  Let me know what you guys think...
