I remarked out my changes till it can be tested by a builder since I don't build and I don't want to unbalance anything. If another coder wants to take this and run with it. :)

Okay I added WEP_GREATSWORD with a length of 140. Not sure about the length difference of a broadsword vs greatsword. Longsword and broadsword are 120. But I could be wrong hehe.

{TWO_HANDED, 40, -130, 60, -90, 120, -160, 60, "Greatsword"}

Need to figure out what these values are but I will get this added as well.

True but it is still a pretty heavy cost in exp. We might want to think about tweaking the code or making flee cost more stamina so you can't flee all the time maybe only once or twice.

People need to use bug since I do look at that. Not typo so much but others tend to move things that are bugs from typo into bug report.

Since Once is going to look at this I won't do it so we won't step on each others toes.

I can take a look at the flee exp loss code. But I have a feel it is based on the xp of the mob and a formula. So if you are fighting a nasty mob you will lose more xp but I will check and make sure.

Not sure why Garrote and Throttle were removed. I could take a look and see why. As for the other skills are these going to be subskills as well? They seem pretty powerful. Not sure we want those skills to be vanilla skills?

You can back stab a sleeping mob. I just used blackjack on a mob and I had no issues with backstabbing it.

My only concern is if these bonuses are in the pfile itself. If they are then that might cause issues since messing with the pfile can give really nasty headaches but I will defer to the other coders who can say if I am barking up the wrong tree.

I agree with Once. Lets see how things work out before making too many ground breaking changes. It also gives players a chance to fiddle around with stuff.

I think the spell defenses are left over from the base circle mud. In the code you see your usual saving throws but I don't think we really use them in our version of the code. They might have been used at one point. I'm not that much of an oldbie to know for sure.

I do think if you are sneaking and hiding you should get a bonus but if the mob has sense life you should get a lower modifier because of it. Or we could have backstab have different affects ie like staggering / confused which reduce armor / ability / etc.

That is what I am planning to do with slit and thrust add affects to them hopefully.

Thotter might be able to write a script that goes through the text files of all objects and fixes things which would be faster than doing it manually. But I don't know how hard it would be to do a script.
