Or just make the only workaround for recall is an ability than ruthless players can force other ruthless players out of recall at will. Perhaps the challenge system would be required for ruthless players. If you are caught off guard and not ready for combat, maybe you shouldnt have idled at recall.. there's the house (if owned) and or clanhall for that.

I think with a little work to a lot of work, gladiators could be popular. Since the feature was put in, just never really fully implemented. There just needs to be a purpose behind using them. Such as ability to earn tradepoints, award points, tokens, gold, something with your main characters. Ideally I'd see gladiators working as, you as a player enter the gladiator arena. Maybe there is a way to have two separate characters that are joined persay. So you can either only be logged in on your gladiator of that name or your main character. If a pk leaderboard is established, it could also be applied to gladiators. I think gladiators just need a bit more mana, moves, hp on par with what the classes currently have etc, and perhaps even be GM, while we have that feature, so we can truly get a feel of where classes need to be balanced. Perhaps have the gladiators the ability to earn tradepoints themselves and have more purchaseable items only they can use, to get gear equivalent to that of what the classes can attain on the outside which further helps in balancing.    For now I think all there needs to be is some scaling of the current gladiators remorts, which will in turn affect moves, mana, and hp, and some equipment given to the gladiators. With perhaps the ability for that equipment to be purchaseable down the road. Start implementing the pk systems there, as a test area basis, and then branch out. Just a suggestion, it's all already there, and will be balanced and fair and maybe people will want to get involved in pk that normally don't because it should be a level playing field assuming our classes are balanced.

PK Extra Ruthless, if you die in PK, it's perma death and you have to start over o_o   but... you get like a 100 percent damage boost.

Perhaps something that I've seen before is a type of rebirth or reincarnation system. When you do this, you go back to level 1, no remorts. and start fresh as a unique class/race with. Of course you can keep everything you earned your first playthrough, all quest flags, equipment, tokens, gold, subskills, cybernetics if they are in, etc. This will provide incentive to keep levelling, because you just have to start over to keep going. If you want to keep going for no other reason but to keep going, then that's on you. Except maybe, lets say a portion of the exp after 50 remorts could be conveyed over to after the rebirth. Not really time effective, but it does give something.  With this of course, it could propose unique to races that players could propose or something else interesting to make it semi worthwhile, without the new perk being advantageous, just something, new, unique, and desired.

The CB as an extra flag would work, still though, if you can pick and choose wear locations... People might be lopping off their ears for other slots just so they can get more damroll, and get rid of slots that just doesnt have good equipment for that class/race combo. Now if it's you can only pick and choose from the extra slots. Hips, Scruff, Tail, Antenna, Horn, Back legs, Back hooves, and ankles. It could still be taken advantage of, just not to the degree of getting rid of other standard eq slots on players. I am much in favor of class attributes however. Being able to pick whether you get +melee percent damage or negative in another to get positive in one. I just think if you change this, the cost to change it again, should increase, to discourage changing often. So people dont just change because it's cheap each time they change from melee to caster, and vice versa.

I like the idea of random teleportation and hunting each other to the death. Sure can run to recall, but you can get laid out right there!  Problem I see and it might be tough is to make it so if you cast earthquake at recall, it only affects your opponent and you are able to cast it there, while no one else can cast it. If that's the case, we might just have to stick to a large arena, and the only way out is for someone to die. As the match ticks on, could perhaps make the room get hotter or the ceiling gets lower, if neither can kill each other quick enough with the spike gradually weakening, say by taking off of their max hp by a percentage, then they both die by getting crushed! This would prevent people from just running around for a stalemate and losing nothing. Instead both get a loss, and no one gets a win. The options are limitless for the types of arenas available, the problem is, does there need to be incentives to get people to go PK? It doesn't seem like people want to, and I'm not sure why that is right now, maybe certain bonuses in cybernetics will only be able to be gotten via PK? Or maybe certain artifacts are PK only artifacts. Several ideas that I had on my mind, what do you think?

Could perhaps even hold a player artifact creation contest. Submissions for the best artifacts that would be voted upon by the rest of the players. Creators name could be incorporated into the artifact somehow, perhaps as the artifacts original owner.

Artifacts were nerfed. Not just left in the dust by more powerful equipment. 3 prominent ones that changed were Bloody horntips of minotaurus, deep blue eyes (although they still are decent), and the supple hooded longcoat. I'm sure others changed but can't think of them offhand. Considering the rarity they are to load their stats should be better. Although they shouldn't be epic.  They should be on par with hard quests, because of the time it takes to get one.
I also think that we should just start calling what we call artifacts, rare-loads. Because that is what they are. Since they are part of zones, and have a history, keep them, just don't make them part of the new artifact system. The new artifact system should be epic items. As good and on the same par as the *Excalibur* sword which is a quest reward that only one player can use at a time.
I played somewhere once that the artifact system worked like this. It had something similiar to the detector we have now that would prompt the location of all artis in game, whether a player owned it currently or it was somewhere else. These artis stayed with their master, the one who got it, and would only stay with them if they would be made happy. You made the artifacts happy by of course killing with them. Whether it be pk or mk. You could also only ever have one arti on at a time because they would get jealous of each other. Unless the one liked you enough to let it slide. This persisted even through loggin off, but if you logged off too long the artifact wasn't happy and would leave you and go back into the world for someone else to find it and take care of it. And they of course hated it if you'd die by any means. This idea I think would work well here. Details of course would need ironed out, but overall could work for the new artifacts we want. it should be brand new items, epic items with unrivaled stats, non perzable, and unique. Some artifacts may be better for casters levelling, melee levelling, melee pk, caster pk, perhaps some with varying degrees of those, or hybrids, perhaps some with unique innates like brace or mana shield. Maybe even make it so they work similiar to the Orcrist, and can gain levels with their master, so you always want to try and get your primary artifact back to get more levels on it to make it better. they could start out good stats, and gradually increase the more active you are with it. This idea promotes activity in the game even more. There is  a lot of ideas I mentioned, of course not all will be liked, so discuss away, and let me know what you think?

how would the new cyborg race, and new races affect all of the !race equipment out there?  I think if it were possible to rename the way your race is on finger, who, score, etc, for cosmetic rp purposes it'd be good, but not sure about gameplay because honestly if someone wants max damroll, but the item is unusable by fauns, like the boxing trunks, but they like having horns, they go faun, change to cyborg and can now where the trunks. Maybe there are ways around this loophole?

They fall under subskills currently.
Certainly a good way to start off is with loyalty bonuses. Levels the playing field between oldbies with the bonus and newbies without for certain, as long as the cost is reasonable and all parties can afford it of course.

I think a good high end upgrade for cybernetics could be something that increases a select max stat point. Because each of them would have their perks the cost to change it could be adverse, like a lot of gold or maybe decrease the stat you increased base stat by one, if you choose to allocate it elsewhere.  The stat can be raised by a max of three, perhaps by upgrade surgeries, have to get +1 stat first to get +2 and the chance of success of +2 working is a lot less than +1, and finally +3 which could get your max stat to 25, of course permitting you have equipment to fill that void.  This could make people focus on dex, to increase their speed and attack, or int to increase magic damage, charisma, to increase magic damage/hp gains as caster, con for hp gains for everyone, etc. will add diversity, and each of course have their set benefits. I pick 25 because that is currently the max stat in the code, (what imms have). So it should very well be doable. Any thoughts?

I like the idea of cybernetics and augments, the idea definitely has merit and definitely would need some extensive testing. I really like the race lab idea. To be able to create your own race is phenomenal. I just wonder how that can work with quests. When a quest talks to you by your race, will it just say your base race before the cybernetics? Will this change how your race appears in who? finger command? or will it just simply be a way of altering the way your current race looks and you call it whatever you want? Also some body slots read different per original race, like worn on hooves, and worn feet, etc, will those be changeable? If all of this stuff is editable within the race lab, I'm very much in favor for it, even limited it still has merit.

Really though, for those that do remort past 50, there should be some minimal bonus, like a small damage increase per level as there is up to 50, or small static health increase, instead of all effort after 50 being pointless..

What does everyone think of a challenge system being built into the game? This would involve a command such as challenge actually challenging the person. When someone is challenged for instance via the challenge command, that player is then prompted as to whether they accept or decline the challenge. If accepted the two are whisked away to an arena where the two can duke it out in an arena, if declined then nothing happens. We could combine this into the new PK champion on the who list.  If that title is being carried that person shouldn't be given the option to decline, and has to accept to defend his/her title. Perhaps via the challenge system it can be possible to do group fights, such as 2v2, or other things to make it interesting. Along with the challenge system, perhaps get pk points working and beneficial in some way for PK's, maybe even giving incentive to go PK. Just some thoughts, what do you all think?
