In most of the zones there are "built-in" Quests. Sometimes a mob gives you<br />

some task to perform, and it is usually a good idea to do this, because the<br />
<br />
grateful mob is likely to reward you. If you want some hints about these<br />
<br />
Quests, look at one of the Questcards 1-80. (Card A-M are scavenger hunts).<br />
<br />
The rewards for the quests are usually brass, bronze or silver tokens. That<br />
<br />
is the "currency" of 4D, which you can use to buy our special features.<br />
<br />
<br />
You get the Questcards from the Questcard Machine in the Questors' Office <br />
<br />
northwest of Recall. Close to it is the Token Machine, where you can deposit <br />
<br />
your tokens. And the Quest Machine, where you can turn in the Scavenger Hunt <br />
<br />
objects. Be sure to read the instruction SIGNS!<br />
<br />
In the Questors' Office are also lists of particularly easy or hard quests.<br />
<br />

The command QUEST toggles the Quest Channel. This simple command merely<br />
<br />
informs the Powers-that-Be that you wish to participate in the currently<br />
<br />
running Quest. If an immortal is running a Quest and needs to know who wishes<br />
<br />
to participate, he/she will ask players to turn on their Quest flags using<br />
<br />
this QUEST command if they are interested in the Quest. It also allows you <br />
<br />
to talk on the quest channel and receive information specific to the quest.<br />
