Utopia is a very large and complex zone, with lots of quests and many

interactive mobs. It has been in development for over 15 years, before

finally being finished in 2013.

The zone has two main parts: The City and The Outside.

THE CITY, inside a protective dome, was mostly designed by Snowbird and

later finished by Molly. It's a safe and friendly environment, with no

aggros, partly a low level hack'n'slash zone, partly a Quest zone.

The Questmobs are generally higher level, and you need to talk to many

of the citizens, in order to solve the Quests.

THE OUTSIDE, built by Molly, is affected by pollution and irradiation.

It's a harsh and dangerous environment, populated by mutated animals

and extremely strong and sometimes aggressive intelligent machines.

These are so powerful that you need to be at least three players grouped

to have any success in fighting them.

This part of the zone is not immediately accessible, partly to protect

low level visitors.

You need to solve at least two of the Centennial Quests to be able to

enter the Outside.

But you also need to enter the Outside to solve the main Quest, "The

Secrets of Utopia".
