Usage: write <paper> <pen><br />
<br />

In order to write a note-paper, you need a piece of blank paper (or similar), <br />
<br />
and a pen of some sort. You can then type write paper pen (or something <br />
<br />
similar, according to what you have in your inventory). <br />
<br />
Then you'll be asked to type in the message for your note. <br />
<br />
<br />
/c on a new line clears the note so you can start from scratch again.<br />
<br />
/l on a new line shows you what you've written without saving the text.<br />
<br />
/f formats the lines to a length that fits the window.<br />
<br />
/h to see the other options.<br />
<br />
/s on a new line to save what you have written.<br />
<br />
<br />
You can NOT write a note in a room with a board, it will turn up as a message <br />
<br />
on the board with the header 'pen paper'.<br />

WRITE is also used to post messages to bulletin boards. Type HELP BOARDS <br />
<br />
for more information.<br />

There is also a feature called NOTE. This allows you to send a note to all <br />
<br />
players, to one player, to all imms, to all heroes, to a clan, to all imps <br />
<br />
etc. depending on how you set the recipient. The command NOTE HELP will show <br />

you how to use this feature.<br />
