In most of the zones there are "built-in" Quests. Sometimes a mob gives you

some task to perform, and it is usually a good idea to do this, because the

grateful mob is likely to reward you. If you want some hints about these

Quests, look at one of the Questcards 1-80. (Card A-M are scavenger hunts).

The rewards for the quests are usually brass, bronze or silver tokens. That

is the "currency" of 4D, which you can use to buy our special features.


You get the Questcards from the Questcard Machine in the Questors' Office 

northwest of Recall. Close to it is the Token Machine, where you can deposit 

your tokens. And the Quest Machine, where you can turn in the Scavenger Hunt 

objects. Be sure to read the instruction SIGNS!

In the Questors' Office are also lists of particularly easy or hard quests.


The command QUEST toggles the Quest Channel. This simple command merely

informs the Powers-that-Be that you wish to participate in the currently

running Quest. If an immortal is running a Quest and needs to know who wishes

to participate, he/she will ask players to turn on their Quest flags using

this QUEST command if they are interested in the Quest. It also allows you 

to talk on the quest channel and receive information specific to the quest.
