ARMORLOCATIONS ARMOURLOCATIONS BODYPARTS WEAR_LOCS

Armour is perhaps the most essential adventuring gear you need, as it helps

keeping you alive and protect your body in combat. Different types of armour

have varying protection rate (AC), and they can also have different

addaffects. There are many different addaffects that can be found on pieces of

armour and they may vary in strength and amount. Depending on what Class you

belong to some addaffects are of more use than others. Warriors may look for

hit-and damroll; mages for mana, wiz and cha; thieves for dex and int.

Occasionally a piece of armor can also have an innate spell put on it, for

instance detect_invis, or sense_life.

Armour of course covers parts or all of your body depending on what wear_locs

they cover. Not all races have the same wear_locs, but they all have the same

number. For instance a race that has horns and a tail, will lose two other

wear_locs to compensate for this. Also beware of leaving any bodyparts without

armour as the opponents will strike on all different bodyparts, looking for a

weak spot. Below is a list of the bodyparts, and what wear_locs are covering

them.

Top center: neck 1, neck 2, head, face, eyes, ear right, ear left, horns,

antenna

Top left: finger left, hands, arms, shield, wrist left, hold, about

Top right: finger right, hands, arms, shield, wrist right, hold, about

Center: neck 1, neck 2, body, shield, about, waist, tail

Lower left: legs, feet, legs 2, feet 2, about, ankle left, tail

Lower right: legs, feet, legs 2, feet 2, about, ankle right, tail

AS you can see the positions overlap, so that for instance neck is both

covering center (torso) and top center (head).
