MISSILES LAUNCHER CATAPULTS

The spaceships and ships have ranged weapons that can blow up another ship

at a distance. They only harm players indirectly, by destroying their vehicle.

The command is FIRE <target-name> <direction>, for instance 'fire ship east'.

The percentage chance of hitting with a missile is based on range and chance.

If both ships are in the same room you cannot use the missile launcher.


The range percentage hit chance is as follows:

within 1 room: 100/1 = 100%

within 2 rooms: 100/2 = 50

within 3 rooms: 100/3 = 33

within 4 rooms: 100/4 = 25

within 5 rooms: 100/5 = 20


In addition to that, there's a 33% chance of it still missing. So at range 1

you have a 66% chance hitting the target and at range 5 about 6%.

Each direct hit weakens the ship. After the given number of hits, the ship

will be destroyed. The crew and most of the cargo will land in the room where

the ship was. Without spacesuits they will perish.
