GLADIATORGAMES
- Official Gladiator Games will be held at least twice a year, or more
- frequently upon request from more than 5 players. Anyone, regardless of
- level, can take part in these open games.
- Each Official Gladiator Event will be announced on the Recall Board at
- least 1 week ahead of the Game, and players will have to register for it by
- note or mudmail before the event takes place.
- Any player can also sponsor an Official Gladiator event, at the cost of 5
- silver. The minimum number of contestants for this is 3.
- Between the official Games, there will be the chance of getting access to a
- Gladiator for training fights, and to get familiar with both the Gladiator
- skills and the surroundings, either in the large Arena (70 rooms) or in the
- smaller Gladiator Training Arena (4 rooms).
- This access will come at a cost, preliminary 2 silver per Gladiator and day
- in the big Arena and 2 bronze per Gladiator and day in the smaller Arena.
- Seekers will get a reduced price for the access to the Arena, as a chance
- to get the feel of running a strong character. In their case the price will
- be 2 brass/day for full access and 1 brass/day for limited access. (This
- reduced price will not apply if the character is an alt to an older player.
- See also Rules, point 6).
- There can be several types of Gladiator Games, for instance;
- one-against-one duels - knock-out tournaments - all-against-all tournaments - larger melees, where all Gladiators fight all others at the same time - Clan-against-Clan melees
- with or without scattered heals - with or without scattered equipment - with or without scattered cage keys - with or without handicaps - with or without loose animals - with or without mounts - with or without access to the cellar part of the Arena
- The Gladiator Arena will also be used to test possible new PK skills.
