GOSSIP IC NOGOS NOGOSSIP
Usage: gossip <message>
ic <message>
Gossip is the main global channel in this mud for OOC messages, the equivalent
of the command chat that some Muds use. Messages over gossip can be seen by
all players in the Mud that haven't typed in the nogossip command, regardless
of what room they are in.
The channel is mainly used for global information, idle chat, jokes shared by
the entire Mud, and OOC (Out Of Character) discussions.
It can sometimes be a bit spammy, which is why there is an option to turn it
off by typing NOGOS.
IC (In Character) Channel is a better option for Roleplayers, if you as
Roleplayer can accept the use of global channels at all. This channel can only
be used and heard by registered Roleplayers, meaning that they have submitted
a backgroundstory for their character to the webpage.
To broadcast an emote over gossip, just start the message with your name.
Examples:
gossip Hey, is that a short sword on your belt or are you happy to see me?
IC I defy anyone to stop me from rescuing the Princess from that dragon!
goss Treana snickers
will display as: Gossip: Treana snickers.
