SOCIALS FROMAFAR AFAR

Usage: social

<social> <victim>

Socials are commands used to show your affective state to others. The

actor, victim and bystanders may receive different messages. Generally,

social commands are used only to express emotion and not to take action,

but it is possible that some mobs (or players) will take action based on

the social. (Slap a dragon lately?)

Some socials support bodyparts. For instance: pat homer back

The SOCIAL command generates a canonical listing of all available socials.

This Mud has quite a collection, many of them provided by some of our funnier

oldtimers.

Don't SPAM socials, especially not at Recall. If you want to try out what

some socials do, better go to a more private room with a friend.

Some players actually get offended by some socials. If you find this to be the

case, better refrain from using that social on that player.

Some people (Helpers, Heroes and Imms) can use the socials FROM AFAR. This

means that the 'victim' doesn't need to be in the same room as the person

performing the social. To do a social from afar just type in the social as if

the victim were in the same room.
