AC is your armor class.  It is a number from -100 to 100.
+
1)  Make Each Word In The Room Name Capitalised Like This

AC = Similar to a
+
2)  Remember to type /c before typing in the new description.
100 = Naked person

0 = Very Heavily armored

-100 = Armored battle tank

Think of it as your chance of being hit.
+
3)  Check on the board what the different FLAGS do.

Items with negative AC will push your AC lower when you wear it.
+
Always set INDOORS in rooms that are sector inside.

Items with the positive affect ARMOR will also push your AC lower.
+
Use the !MOB flag sensibly to keep wandering mobs penned in.

ARMOR from spells and affects gets shared to the AC of every item you are wearing.
+
4)  The sector type MUST be set properly! This is important!

For example:

5-B) see HELP DOORS

If you have a total of +25 ARMOR from various items you are wearing and a few spells.
+
C    You can set a different room description for nighttime (10 PM to 5 AM)

So you have 5 pieces of armor on, each of those items would get a bonus +5 AC.
+

AC provides benefit in two ways -
