* Vehicles work in the grids as long as the terrain is right, and you can even

For now the grids are implemented only in the Future Dimension (Spacegrids,

Planet Poon, Jurassic Ocean,) and large parts of the Prehistoric Dimension

NEWBIE NEWBIECHANNEL NONEWB

Usage: newbie <message> (sends a message to all that monitor the channel.

nonewb (toggles the newbiechannel on or off)

First of all welcome to 4d. To start with you can go through mudschool where

you'll learn the most used commands and the structure of 4d.

The purpose of newbiechannel is to allow new players to ask questions and

receive information, without unnecessarily disturbing those of the players

that aren't in an inquisitive and/or helpful mood at the moment. Avoid gossip

for matters like this.

The newbiechannel can he monitored by all that have it toggled, and hopefully

at least one of those will be able and willing to respond.

Since many of the questions/answers may be of interest to more new players

than the one who actually asked, newbiechannel is preferred before TELL.

You can also use ct (ctell), which will send a message to all in your Clan.

(This includes some imms who are members of the Seekers to be able to monitor

the channel). Using newbie is again a better choice though, since older

players are more likely to be able to answer questions about the game, than

the Seekers, who are mostly relatively new.

Don't expect to receive any info about Quests, since sharing such info is one

of the few things that aren't allowed in this Mud.
