DEATHTRAPS DEATH TRAPS DIE DT
{cyDying in this mud is quite annoying, although we don't have permanent death.
If you died you'll end up in the {cWHealer's Temple{cx, a safe place. If you stay
there for some time, your health will go up again. To leave the room just
{cWenter{cx the {cWrift{cx and you'll end up in Recall.
But - not only do you loose a lot of exp points and all the money you were
carrying, when you died, you also have to get your corpse back to get the
equipment you had. If you get back into the room where you died and you see
your corpse type {cWmeld corpse{cx, {cWwear all{cx and {cWwield <weapon>{cx.
Don't forget to get healed before going to look for your corpse. And don't
forget to bring a light or you might get stuck in the darkness out there.
It's also a good idea to keep most of your money in a bank, if you prefer to
recover your corpse, which is quite expensive. Or you can wait for automeld
if you have the time.
If you were in a group when you died and one of the groupmembers has the spell
summon he can summon you back to where you died. You could also hire a
mercenary to get the stuff back, if the mobs are aggro and you are afraid to
go there on your own.
If you are careless enough to step into a DEATHTRAP, all your equipment will
be lost for good. There are very few deathtraps in the realms, but they do
exist, so better look where you are going. All of them are clearly marked in
the exit descs.
The 4d Travel Agency now also provides a DT-Insurance. This means you can now
insure your equipment or part of your equipment, in case you'll hit a DT in
the future. That way the insured equipment will actually save over the DT.
More information about this can be read by typing: HELP INSURANCE.
{cRAlso note that after hitting a DT, the insurance on your equipment will have
to be renewed again.{cx
