I forgot what my <insert item name here> does.
If you've identified the item, you can just examine it and it will remind you
what it does. BUT, you have to have identified that particular item. Just
because you've identified the Rod of Justice once, doesn't make ALL Rod of
Justices give up that info on examination.
Where do I go to level?
4 Dimensions has, well, 4 dimensions to travel in, depending on what your
tastes are. There is Future, Medieval, Old West and Prehistoric, each of the
dimensions are full of areas for players of every class and every level. Type
help, then the name of the dimension you wish to travel in (example help
prehistoric) and it will list the levels and names of zones. Need to know
how to get to one? Go 4 south of recall to the Map room where you can find
directions to any of our many zones. For new players, Diandra made a useful
post on the seekers board for suggested areas to go after mudschool.
What does the asterisk in front of my name mean?
It means that you are a first tier player that has not remorted - in other
words, you are the true new player. Other people that are your same level
without the asterisk means they've remorted at least once - more than like at
least 4 times.
Are there any nifty shop tricks?
Thank you for asking, yes there is. If you list the items that a shopkeeper
sells (type list) then type in id #number of the item you like. You will then
see what the item does without using a scroll of identify before you buy it.
