Working in mines can be dangerous, but damage protection might help you:

Sturdy gloves and other mining equipment decreases the percentage of damage

done to you when caught in a trap, a cave-in or any other damage related

scenario. Certain special items give full protection against type attacks,

such as green dragon scale equipment gives you full protection against poison

traps and poison gas. Black dragon scale equipment protects against electric

attacks, etc.

Damage Protection is a 0 to 100 scale: 0 protection is just that, you bear the

full brunt of your damage. At 100 protection, you may loose a single hitpoint.

Score will tell you your amount of damage protection.
